MATERIALS
Wherever possible materials are sourced from recycled products or from items which would otherwise have gone to landfill. This includes unwanted domestic furniture, fly tip and industrial off cuts.
STAINS, VARNISHES & GLUES
All stains, varnishes and glues used are either water based or chosen for their low V.O.C. (volatile organic compounds) rating.
ELECTRICITY
Power for the workshop / studio and power tools is generated sustainably on site with a combination of renewable resources which include a solar array and wind turbine. Power can also be supplemented with a backup generator running on waste vegetable oil (W.V.O).

WASTE
Any waste timber / offcuts are used on site as firewood for central heating, paint tins are sent to a local recycling centre.
